The main ingredients of calcium chloride desiccant are calcium chloride and food adhesive. Calcium chloride is made by high quality calcium carbonate and hydrochloric acid through reaction synthesis, filtration, evaporation, concentration and drying process. Calcium chloride desiccant is a kind of highly efficient adsorption material. Through chemical reactions, water molecules react with calcium chloride to absorb moisture from the surrounding environment and turn into gel, achieving the adsorption effect.
The product features
Better moisture absorption. Common silica gel desiccant can only absorb 10-27% of its own weight, while calcium chloride desiccant can reach 300%, and its moisture absorption rate is 8-15 times higher than that of ordinary desiccant.
After complete absorption, will not evaporate. After the ordinary desiccant absorbs moisture, the water vapor will evaporate and come out again when exposed to high temperature, while calcium chloride desiccant can fuse the water vapor with calcium chloride into a gel, which is not easy to evaporate.
Working from minus 5 ℃ to 90 ℃ . Calcium chloride desiccant has good stability and is hard to react with other substances except water. It can be used in almost all Marine environments.

Calcium chloride gets hygroscopic ability and is easy to deliquesce when exposed to outside. It is soluble in water and gives a lot of heat (the dissolved enthalpy of calcium chloride is -176.2 CAL /g), and the aqueous solution is slightly acidic. Soluble in alcohol, acetone, acetic acid. When combined with ammonia or ethanol, CaCl2·8NH3 and CaCl2·4C2H5OH complexes were generated. Because of absorbing moisture outside , anhydrous calcium chloride must be sealed and stored in a container.

Usage method and matters need attention
1. After opening this packaging bag, try to use it as soon as possible and seal with dried preservation. If there is remain , please re-seal the original packaging bag after removing air to prevent failure.
2. This product is not edible. If somebody eat it by mistake, please drink plenty of milk or purified water and go to hospital as soon as possible. Keep it out of reach of children.
3. Do not dry ethanol and ammonia with calcium chloride (ethanol and ammonia will react with calcium chloride).
